Tijdens Het Zuid Manifest: Carola Loves Carlos, rijdt er een taxi service rond die wordt gerund door bewoners uit Charlois in hun priveauto’s. Chauffeurs zijn gidsen en gesprekspartners voor zowel locals als bezoekers van Charlois. Elke rit is een andere reis. Chauffeurs zetten je af op een van de locaties van Het Zuid Manifest – je mag zelf kiezen welke – terwijl zij hun persoonlijke verhaal vertellen en perspectief op Charlois delen.
Taxi Travis rijdt van 28 tot en met 29 maart.

De taxi service is gratis, maar de chauffeur een fooi geven mag natuurlijk altijd.
Taxi Travis staat volledig op de deelname en inbreng van bewoners. Heb je een auto, of wil je meedoen als chauffeur? Stuur een e-mail naar taxi.travis010@gmail.com. Je benzine kosten worden vergoed en je ontvangt een kleine vrijwilligersvergoeding.
De taxi service is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met kunstenaar Parel Strik en onderzoeker en curator Merit Zimmermann.

During Het Zuid Manifest: Carola Loves Carlos, a taxi service is run by Charlois residents in their private cars. Drivers are guides and conversation partners for both locals and visitors to Charlois. Each ride is a different journey. Drivers drop you off at one of the locations of Het Zuid Manifest – you can choose which one – while they share their personal story and perspective on Charlois.
Taxi Travis will be driving on 28 and 29 March.

The taxi service is free, but tipping the driver is of course always appreciated!
